After studying a UAL Art and Design Foundation Diploma at Bristols School of Art, where I explored the bridge between fine art and film. It in turn led me to studying at the Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Film Production, within the duration of the course I quickly became fascinated and drawn to the specialist pathway of production design.
Throughout my time on the course I dedicated my learning and creative practice to understanding the visual elements of production design for film. Working on multiple short films I have experience in an array of art departmental roles, from drafting designs, petty cash buying, set constructing, scenic painting and set dressing.
Having a background within Art and Design has allowed me to work artisitically and creatively when communicating innovative ideas to solve art departmental problems. Holding strong technical skills in Adobe software, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator and Lightroom. I also have knowledge of hand drafting and cad software for set design within my technical drawing portfolio.
